Over the river and through the woods to Tottenham Court Road we go!
I am going to let you in on my most recent discovery.
If you are a stylishmews follower and consider yourself a bit of a reluctant shopper, get yourself to Tottenham Court Road.
Many of you who have lived in or, traveled to the United States, are no doubt familiar with the home and lifestyle stores Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn and William Sonoma.
I rarely go to Tottenham Court Road, unless I am in desperate need of the odd piece of electrical equipment. It is not what I would call a stylish quartier. Lo and behold, the face of TCR is changing with the (week old) addition of the American home furnishing and lifestyle emporium West Elm; a cross between Pottery Barn and William Sonoma (hardly surprising since it is owned by the same parent company).
All I can say is, I went there looking for a hostess present and walked out having accomplished my mission, including, something for myself.
West Elm will be a great addition to your list of places to go if you are in need of unique and thoughtful presents. In addition, the furniture, bed linens, tabletop, and design service are wonderful. Staff is friendly and only too happy to help.
