A resource and running commentary on stylish London

Footnote

I am a person who falls into the category of shopping without a purpose. For those of you out there who either love or abhor shopping, who delight in discovering something new or would prefer to rely on my advise, read on…

A few posts back I wrote about Gabriela Ligenza, a hat shop located off of Sloane Street near Sloane Square. From time to time (as I previously mentioned) I pop in just to see what’s new.

Sometimes I hit the jackpot so to speak.

Last Saturday (June 22nd), was one of those days.
As I walked past the window I spotted a collection of raffia shoes reminiscent of the very expensive ones Emma Hope sells. Don’t get me wrong, I love Emma Hope shoes.

Gabriela’s shop is not just a hat shop. You do not necessarily need a hat to venture in. There is always something surprising, elegant and stylish, just like the milliner herself.
Needless to say I purchased a great pair of black raffia loafers, perfect for summer.

Unfortunately the ballerina flats did not fit!

why spend 269 pounds on a pair of shoes when you can get a similar style for 179 pounds

Sizes and styles are limited, so do pop in before they run out of your size.

P.S there are still some fantastic pieces of one of a kind costume jewelry available as well!
